COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
Throughout the year we have various service projects, such as Christmas Angel Trees, volunteering at the Lowcountry Food Bank, school supply drives for foster children, volunteer opportunities at Meeting Street School Brentwood, keeping our food pantry stocked and others.

As an official Earthcare ministry, we raise awareness of our spiritual oneness with our Earth home and promote active care of creation. We express Unity’s belief in our oneness with all divine life in ways that directly impact our planet. We have guest speakers and workshops, are certifying the church as a Green Faith church, and monitor all our practices for the good of the Earth.

FELLOWSHIP

This team prepares the coffee and snacks on Sunday mornings. The team also helps with fellowship events, pot lucks and special occasions like field trips and outings. They enjoy creating a warm and welcoming community for all who enter here.

This team is helping to get our message out to the community through various ways: print, social media, Facebook, Instagram, website, hanging fliers, bulletin board and more. They provide clarity and consistency to promote the wonderful happenings of Unity Charleston!
OFFICE AND SANCTUARY ANGELS
You can help with keeping the sanctuary at its best, watering plants and giving special care, as well as, help with mail outs, filing, copying and the like. Very very helpful!
FINANCE AND FUNDRAISING

This group of folks love to raise money and find new and creative ways to support the church beyond the pledge drive. They work in the short term and the long term as well as work to engage the church in prosperity consciousness.
USHER WELCOME TEAM

You can be the smiling face of Unity once a month as we take turns greeting and welcoming each and every one that enters our doors! They also give a short tour, engage in conversation, and they are the eyes and ears for any needs that may arise. Towards the end of the service they assist with taking up the offering.
HEAL– PRAYER AND CARE TEAM

Our HEAL team meets monthly to share the current prayer needs of our congregation and spend time in silent prayer together and then daily at home. They also visit and call folks who may need a comforting voice and positive affirmation. Cards are also sent to our spiritual friends and family.
YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY

The goal of this ministry is for 2 teachers to partner and to provide children, Kindergarten through Senior year, a safe and nurturing environment while learning spiritual principles and practices. This is a once a month Sunday adventure with all materials, curriculum and training provided.
